Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need an appointment?
Yes! Please use our online booking tool to select a time slot that works best with your schedule or call . Any cancellations or time changes must be made at least 48 hours before your original appointment time.

Can this ultrasound replace the ultrasound scheduled by my physician?
Absolutely not! All customers must provide proof that they are receiving regular prenatal care by a qualified medical professional. Mothers must still receive the ultrasound prescribed by their doctor or midwife.

Will I always get beautiful pictures of my baby?
Usually, but not always. The quality of ultrasound images depends on several factors such as amniotic fluid volume, fetal position, placental position, and gestational age. For 1 week prior to your ultrasound, please drink at least 8-10 glasses of water each day!

Is the ultrasound covered by my insurance?
No, an elective ultrasound is not covered by insurance and will need to be paid for out of pocket. We accept cash and credit cards.

Can I bring my friends and family?
Absolutely! We invite customers to bring friends and family to view the ultrasound together. Our viewing rooms accommodate approximately 5 adult-sized guests, but more can fit if you are willing to squeeze in

Is there really a charge for each additional baby?
Yes, there is a $20 charge per extra baby in an ultrasound. Please understand that each baby requires double (or triple) the amount of time and effort. We must take more time out of our schedule in order to allow for the second (or third) baby to be captured on imaging.

Can you measure how big my baby is?
We get this question all the time! Unfortunately, we are not able to do measurements during an elective ultrasound.

What happens if I am late to my ultrasound?
We try to be as flexible as possible, but any time you are late cuts into your ultrasound time because our appointments are booked back to back. Please CALL if you know that you are going to be late so that we can attempt to make adjustments to the schedule.
When is the best time to get a 3D/4D ultrasound performed?
Between 28-32 weeks your baby is fully developed and still has plenty of room to move around if he/she is in a bad position. Plus, if a rescan is necessary, we still have plenty of time to schedule one! With that being said, any time is a good time to see your baby!

Does this ultrasound detect abnormalities my baby or placenta may have?
No! An ultrasound performed by My Sweet Baby is purely for entertainment and bonding purposes. The baby and fetal conditions will not be assessed during the ultrasound. My Sweet Baby cannot be held liable for abnormalities found at a later ultrasound by your physician.

What types of payment do you accept?
We accept both cash and card (all kinds of cards). We do not accept personal checks or insurance.

What is your cancellation policy?
Customers are free to make cancellations or reschedule if done at least 48 hours ahead of their appointment time. Cancellations or rescheduling after the 48 hour mark will result in Sneak Peek keeping your $25 deposit.

What is your refund policy?
All sales are final. If we are unable to determine gender during your gender reveal ultrasound, one free rescan will be offered.

Do I need to do anything special before my ultrasound?
Yes! Make sure that you are very hydrated for 3-4 days before your ultrasound. Also, bring a cold drink to your appointment in case baby is in a funky position and we need him/her to move! If you are high risk in any way this should be just water. If you are not high risk, this drink can be a sugary drink of your choice (you won't have to drink much of it!). Lastly, unlike the common belief, you do NOT have to have a full bladder if you are more than 14 weeks pregnant.
